My fiance and I were traveling from MD to ME on vacation. While traveling, a large rock hit my windshield on my brand new truck and left a huge bullseye with 2 small cracks. I asked my fiance to start calling local companies to see if they could accomodate us. We made one phone call and they could help but referred us to Portland Glass in Brunswick. We called, they said come on in. We got off on the next exit and made our way there. The entire staff could not have been more pleasant and easy to work with. They took my truck in, fixed the windshield. The tech was a super nice guy as was the nice woman at the front desk. Top to bottom it was a first class experience, they saved our vacation!

OK! Maybe I'm telling tales out of school, but I just have to say this is an absolutely magical resource to have at our fingertips! And although everyone in this transaction was delightful, Renee is my hero 🩷 Some history: My husband and I used Portland Glass to mirror 2 walls in small rooms in our beautiful 1907 Portland apartment renovation. They did an absolutely FLAWLESS job and made our rooms look TWICE the size and twice as bright :-) True perfectionists, the wonderful installer refused to leave until everything was absolutely impeccably aligned. This brings me to today's adventure… We're just back from 2 weeks in Colorado at our son's wedding, and we're lucky enough to have a dear friend who lives on a magnificent island, who was happy to keep our delightful husky at "summer camp" in our absence. She was reported to have been as perfect as promised... with one exception: having been left at home during a short dinner party, closed in the house and getting a little bit anxious, she exited through a screen door 🙈 Her very chill host made no big deal about it, but mentioned that she had left the screen at Portland Glass for repair. It would be repaired within two weeks. Since we were driving through Brunswick to pick Ember up, I called and got Renee on the phone who put me on hold while she went to see if there was any possibility of expediting the repair. Within a minute she was back saying that we could pick it up in an hour 😳 Not only did they do a perfect job, but everyone I met was an absolute delight :-) I looked like a hero meeting our friend at the dock to retrieve Ember, repaired screen in hand!! I can't possibly recommend this wonderful operation more highly‼️‼️

Our experience with Portland Glass was superb from the minute we walked through their door in Brunswick to inquire about getting a shower glass door made and installed, through installation. They were knowledgable, courteous, measured accurately, and were efficient, completing the entire process in a timely manner. We had another shower door installed by a different company before we went to Portland Glass, and we only wish we'd gone to PG for that one, too. We highly recommend Portland Glass.
